Drew Hedditch
Drew is a professional Australian ballet dancer, and has been for the past 12 years.
Born in Canberra, Drew began dancing at a young age before moving to The Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. In 2014, he joined The Australian Ballet. That same year, he bought his first 35mm camera (Yashica Electro 35) and began learning how to use it. His passion for film photography was sparked by the medium’s honesty and timelessness, much like the world of ballet.

Through his connection to dance and theatre, Drew has become a self-taught photographer. His first solo exhibition, On Show, was held in 2024 at Rofe st Gallery which coincided with the first release of his limited edition prints.

Drew continues to be inspired by the world and the people around him, capturing fleeting moments and having them live on through his photographs.
